ABOUT ALAS

Our Mission

To accomplish the implementation of integral early childhood development public policies for the 40% of Latin American children that live without coverage, working simultaneously in the following focus areas:

AWARENESS

ALAS uses the penetration of its artists and the media to alert society about the need of having early childhood development policies.

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

Through agreements with universities and organizations that perform research in early childhood development, ALAS develops contents that can be the basis of a strategic plan for the region.

AGREEMENTS WITH THE PUBLIC SECTOR
ALAS works with the governments as part of the Iberoamerican Program for Early Childhood, where the plans and commitments for the development of early childhood education are analyzed. This program takes place under the activities of the Iberoamerican Summit of Presidents in 2008.
AGREEMENTS WITH THE PRIVATE SECTOR
ALAS seeks to commit the private sector to invest in early childhood development projects that promote the potential of Latin American children from zero to six years old that live in a vulnerable situation.
